Part-Time Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Auckland Harbour Suites is expanding its housekeeping department and is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented person to join as a part-time housekeeping attendant. The role focuses on keeping guest rooms clean and tidy so guests can enjoy an exceptional stay.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds precisely, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Work with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with training and tools provided.
• Build professional relationships with team members, guests and contractors.

Required profile

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and stamina, able to bend, lift and stand for long periods.
• Professional communication skills and good time management.
• Positive, proactive attitude and availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
