About the role
Join the Oaks Auckland Hotel team as a Hotel Receptionist, providing a warm welcome to guests from the moment they arrive. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth check‑ins and check‑outs while delivering exceptional service throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and efficient reception experience, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Communicate courteously with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders via in‑person, phone, and email.
- Process reservations, updates, and special requests accurately using the property management system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, offering assistance, resolving issues, and giving personalized recommendations.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a positive, energetic attitude.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple channels.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Property Management System (PMS) usage
What we offer
- Hourly rate of $25.50‑$27.50 NZD (approximately $39,780‑$44,900 per year).
- Full‑time permanent contract with fortnightly direct‑deposit payments.
