Team Leader – Food & Beverage

About the role

RealNZ is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee Food & Beverage operations at Walter Peak, one of Queenstown’s most iconic hospitality venues. Reporting to the Assistant Coordinator, you will ensure seamless service delivery while creating memorable guest experiences in a stunning natural setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Food & Beverage team during service periods.
• Develop floor plans and manage service flow to optimise efficiency.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Support staff development through training and coaching.
• Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and barista service.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven track record of training, motivating and organising teams.
• Current First Aid certificate (preferred) and Duty Manager’s Certificate / LCQ (preferred).
• Willingness to work in a remote, scenic location; Queenstown‑based or ready to relocate.

Required skills

• Solid barista skills.
• Comprehensive food and beverage knowledge.
