About the role
ACG Parnell College, an independent co‑educational school in Auckland, is looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to join its administration team from June 2026. This full‑time, permanent role will be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming front‑of‑school service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage enquiries in person, by phone and online.
- Maintain and update student records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Produce the Daily Notices bulletin and compile the school bus roster each term.
- Order and manage stationery, name badges, uniform supplies and staff‑room provisions.
- Handle cash, banking tasks and liaise with couriers and service providers.
- Organise reception cover during holidays and support other administrative duties as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Problem‑solving mindset and a warm, approachable attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with school management systems (desirable).
