Service Advisor – Customer Service Role

About the role

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join Tesla’s Auckland Westgate service centre. In this customer‑facing role you will be the first point of contact for owners of Tesla vehicles, providing timely assistance and ensuring a seamless service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails and greet drive‑in customers, addressing concerns with prompt attention.
• Return missed calls and emails within five minutes.
• Identify issues that can be resolved remotely and promptly escalate complex cases to the Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
• Accurately record all customer interactions and vehicle data in the Dealer Management System.
• Process service transactions, guide customers through the repair process and provide clear summaries.
• Communicate estimated completion times, provide regular updates and coordinate vehicle pick‑up or delivery.
• Follow up after service to confirm customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Eagerness to learn new automotive and electric‑vehicle technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Dealer Management System.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
