Senior IT Recruitment Consultant – Christchurch

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant to join a small, founder‑led agency in central Christchurch. You will take full ownership of an established desk, driving permanent IT placements from mid‑level to senior positions while contributing to the team’s business development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment cycle for permanent IT roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with a tight‑knit team of four consultants to achieve collective targets.
• Maintain a high conversion rate through effective candidate engagement and client communication.
• Work five days a week on‑site with family‑friendly flexibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably within an IT agency.
• Demonstrated business development skills and confidence on the phone.
• Strong hunter mindset with the ability to build and convert opportunities.
• Family‑oriented, settled mindset and a genuine appreciation for Christchurch’s lifestyle.
