Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

IDEXX Veterinary Software is expanding its engineering tribes in Auckland and is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join new squads focused on clinical records, practice management, and client engagement. You will work with modern web technologies and cloud‑native architectures to deliver high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, delivering features hands‑on while showcasing engineering and architectural best practices.
• Inspire a culture of accountability, end‑to‑end ownership, and continuous improvement within the squad.
• Contribute to IDEXX’s engineering values, principles, standards, and behaviours across all teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Practice Leads to ensure fit‑for‑purpose solutions and prioritize pragmatic technical improvements such as debt recovery and refactoring.

Required profile

• Proven senior software engineering experience, preferably in a scaled SaaS environment.
• Track record of evolving culture and processes toward better agility, automated testing, and DevSecOps.
• Strong systems and software design capabilities with experience leading technical advancements.
• Familiarity with cloud‑technology principles and modern web development.
