Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the reasoning capabilities of large language models. In this fully remote, flexible contract position you will create high‑fidelity reasoning traces that become core training data for next‑generation AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Author complex, step‑by‑step reasoning traces for sophisticated ML and technical tasks.
• Design and document problem‑solving strategies that teach LLMs to navigate real‑world scenarios.
• Review and quality‑check traces to ensure logical clarity, depth, and usefulness as training data.
• Apply senior‑level architectural insight to improve model robustness and reliability.
• Contribute to data strategies that address edge cases in model decision‑making.

Required profile

• Deep experience in machine learning, AI research, or a closely related field with a focus on model reasoning.
• Proven ability to decompose ambiguous problems into clear, logical steps.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, fine‑tuning, or training methodologies.
• Comfortable working at both architectural and implementation levels.
• Highly rigorous, independent, and able to work asynchronously.
