Senior Full Stack Developer (eCommerce & AI)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Full Stack Developer to join a high‑performing digital agency in Takapuna, Auckland. The role focuses on building and enhancing eCommerce solutions for local and Australian clients, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to deliver faster and higher‑quality code.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for Shopify, BigCommerce and related eCommerce ecosystems, including AI‑powered integrations.
• Stay current with industry trends, especially emerging AI tools, and share knowledge across the team.
• Write maintainable, tested code using established frameworks and AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best‑practice standards, and champion responsible use of AI‑generated code.
• Oversee deployments, releases, and contribute to DevOps and component productisation processes.
• Mentor team members on technical skills and AI adoption.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
