About the role
The People & Culture team at Russell McVeagh is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to support the firm’s talent and learning operations. Based in our Auckland office, you will ensure smooth delivery of training programmes and contribute to broader people initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end coordination and administrative support for L&D activities across the firm.
- Organise internal and external training sessions, handling logistics, materials, LMS administration and post‑training follow‑up.
- Act as a super‑user for People & Culture systems, maintain accurate data, generate learning metrics reports and drive continuous improvement.
- Support firm‑wide learning, diversity & inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with student and early‑talent programmes, including recruitment, events and communications.
- Provide broader recruitment support such as lateral hiring research, screening and interview coordination.
Required profile
- Strong administrative background with high attention to detail.
- Highly organised, process‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive “can‑do” attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Experience in HR or People & Culture is preferred but not essential.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
