Investment Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Investment Analyst on a contract basis to support our investment strategy through rigorous financial analysis and modeling. The role offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and the opportunity to work on AI‑driven financial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, and valuation frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive financial and investment analysis to evaluate business opportunities and risks.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for capital markets decisions.
• Monitor market trends, financial news, and emerging fintech developments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align AI‑driven projects with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or capital markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare and present detailed financial reports.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Expertise in DCF, LBO, valuation techniques, and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models.
