Senior Accountant – Remote (NZ)

About the role

Findex is seeking experienced senior accountants to join its remote‑friendly team supporting clients across the Otago region and the wider New Zealand market. This fully remote position offers flexibility while delivering high‑quality accounting and tax services to individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income‑tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Develop management reports and cash‑flow forecasts to aid client planning.
• Provide accurate, efficient accountancy services and explain tax obligations to clients.
• Utilise leading accounting software to optimise client processes.
• Deliver exceptional client service through Findex’s Family Office model.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public‑practice accounting.
• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards it) – desirable.
• Broad knowledge of tax, accounting and business advisory.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining client relationships.
