About the role

ZatoZato is building the next‑generation platform for accounting firms across New Zealand and Australia. As Head of Sales for the ANZ region, you will own the end‑to‑end commercial process, from prospecting to closing, and shape the sales function as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales cycle across NZ and AU, from first contact to signed agreement and hand‑over to implementation.
  • Identify and engage accounting firm partners, directors and owners through outbound outreach and your professional network.
  • Deliver compelling product demos, address objections, and close deals independently.
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline with clear visibility on conversion rates.
  • Travel regularly for firm visits, industry events, and relationship development.
  • Define and refine the ANZ sales playbook, pipeline discipline, and commercial rhythm.
  • Represent ZatoZato at Xero events, accounting forums, and other industry gatherings.
  • Provide market intelligence to the Group CEO and contribute to overall commercial strategy.

Required profile

  • 7‑15 years of senior commercial, sales leadership or business development experience, preferably within accounting, accounting software, or related professional services.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders such as firm owners, partners and directors.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Strong network within the ANZ accounting sector.
