Front Office Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking a full‑time Front Office Supervisor for Oaks Queenstown Shores. You will lead the front desk team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience. This role combines hands‑on supervision with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the front office team to uphold high service standards.
• Oversee daily front desk operations, including guest arrivals, departures and room allocations.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure accurate completion of all shift tasks and administrative duties.
• Maintain a tidy and organized front office area in line with brand standards.
• Work a rotating roster covering Monday to Sunday, with shift times between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership ability with prior supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Extensive background in hotel or resort front office operations.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and professional presentation.
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.
