Data Analyst – Performance Reporting

About the role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to lead performance and asset data reporting. In this newly created position you will build a single source of truth, ensure data quality and support business decisions across finance, investments and client teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end collection, stewardship and auditability of performance and asset management data.
- Maintain a single source of truth with clear definitions, lineage and supporting evidence.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliations and resolve issues with data providers.
- Prepare validated datasets for internal Power BI dashboards, reporting and external client requests (RFPs, DDQs, due diligence).
- Partner with Finance, Investments, Asset Management and Client teams to translate reporting needs into measurable data requirements.
- Support performance analysis, calculations, validation and interpretation as needed.
- Standardise, automate and document data processes to improve scalability.
- Onboard new data sources, platforms and tools, including testing and transition to business‑as‑usual.
- Maintain process documentation, controls and runbooks to meet governance, risk and compliance expectations.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Data/Analytics or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in data, analytics, finance or performance reporting, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- Strong controls and process mindset, experience in regulated or evidence‑based environments.
- Proven ability to own data from definition through validation and sign‑off.
- High attention to detail, strong numerical reasoning and ability to explain data outcomes clearly.
- Collaborative, purpose‑led and improvement‑focused with sound judgement and confidentiality.
Required skills
- Power BI
- Microsoft Excel (intermediate)
- SQL or similar data query language
- Databricks (or strong interest in learning)
- SharePoint or comparable collaboration platform
