About the role
Halter is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth and customer success in the coastal Taranaki region. You will act as the on‑the‑ground representative of Halter’s innovative livestock‑tracking technology, helping farmers increase productivity and sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agribusiness stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, support, and regional sales teams to relay field insights.
- Travel throughout the Taranaki region to meet customers and demonstrate solutions.
Required profile
- Deep passion for helping farmers succeed.
- Experience in farm systems or the broader agricultural sector.
- Proven hunter mindset with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong team player with a resilient, never‑give‑up attitude.
