Agri Relationship Manager (Sales Support)

About the role

LIC, a farmer‑owned co‑operative supporting New Zealand’s dairy sector, is looking for an Agri Relationship Manager to provide sales support, administration and customer relationship services for its Lower North Island Agri‑Managers. The role will help deliver on‑farm analysis, advice and data‑driven solutions to dairy farmers, contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support Agri Managers in delivering bespoke analysis and service to farmer customers.
• Ensure successful implementation of LIC solutions and analyses across Lower North Island account portfolios.
• Identify opportunities and innovations to maximise relationships with existing and new customers.
• Assist with seasonal dairy campaigns to meet operational objectives.
• Conduct educational and promotional initiatives with farmers and rural professional groups as required.
• Prepare documentation and data for on‑farm meetings, enabling informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Motivated, office‑based administrator who enjoys building connections.
• Understanding of dairy industry challenges and ability to empathise with farmers.
• Strong self‑motivation, autonomous work style and results‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet development and data analysis.
• Competence using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
