Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

About the role

BayCare Health Systems is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join the team at Mease Dunedin Hospital’s Behavioral Health Center. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting, supporting their recovery and promoting clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered care using the nursing process and established clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other members of the healthcare team.
• Identify opportunities for professional development and maintain accountability for nursing practice.
• Promote evidence‑based interventions and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing (required); Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Availability for a 36‑hour work week, days shift, with weekend work every other week; no on‑call duties.
