Account Executive – Industry Sales (AWS New Zealand)

About the role

As an Account Executive for Industry Sales at AWS, you will own strategic enterprise accounts across New Zealand, driving adoption of AWS services to accelerate digital transformation and business growth. You will work directly with C‑level executives to modernise applications, leverage Generative AI, optimise cloud economics and scale operations globally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for strategic enterprise customers.
• Own key relationships with C‑suite, business and technology leaders.
• Create compelling value propositions around AWS services, especially AI/ML and modern application architectures.
• Manage complex engagements, set vision and coordinate cross‑functional AWS teams and partners.
• Identify, negotiate and close large‑scale technology projects and commercial agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/certifications.
• 5+ years of full‑cycle technology sales, business development or sales engineering experience.
