Trade Assistant, New Vehicle Delivery

About the role

Scania Richlands is looking for a Trade Assistant to join its New Vehicle Delivery team. You will assist with the preparation and delivery of new trucks, supporting technicians so that quality, safety and customer satisfaction are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Complete pre-delivery repairs and fit-up work on new trucks
• Assist technicians as required
• Follow work instructions and complete the relevant documentation

Required profile

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in a similar position
• Current Heavy Commercial driver's licence (HR class desirable), or able to obtain one
• Preferred: experience in new vehicle preparation, heavy vehicle or automotive repairs and servicing
• Preferred: Scania or European truck experience
• Full New Zealand or Australian working rights

• Ability to follow work instructions
• Strong communication and exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
