Inventory Coordinator

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring an Inventory Coordinator for its Distribution Centre Operations team in East Tamaki, Auckland. This is a permanent, onsite position. The coordinator reviews customer claims, maintains claim records, supports the cycle counting team, investigates stock discrepancies and helps improve order accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate all customer claims entered in the Salesforce portal.
• Update and maintain claims spreadsheets, reports and related records accurately.
• Support the workload of the cycle counting team as required.
• Create and deliver training materials for key product and process updates.
• Respond promptly to operational queries from internal stakeholders.
• Investigate orphan stock, missing stock and other stock discrepancies, partnering with stakeholders including NOSIL.
• Identify root causes of customer claims and work with stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
• Review policies and processes to drive proactive improvements in order accuracy and quality.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Experience in root cause analysis, investigation and resolution of operational issues.
• Professional written and verbal communication and the ability to build working relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage confidential information and adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Required skills

• Administration and reporting, including confidence using Excel.
• Root cause analysis and investigation.
