Storeperson – Manufacturing Warehouse

About the role

A Canterbury-based manufacturing and engineering business is looking for a reliable Storeperson on a temporary basis. The role supports warehouse and stores operations, making sure materials are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately, working closely with production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming goods
• Pick and issue materials for production needs
• Complete stock movements and inventory transactions accurately
• Operate scanning equipment and basic ERP systems
• Maintain accurate stock records and documentation
• Load and unload goods safely
• Help with stocktakes and inventory control
• Keep stores and warehouse areas clean and organised
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Required profile

• Previous stores, warehouse or inventory experience preferred
• Current OSH forklift licence required
• F endorsement preferred but not essential
• Physically fit for manual handling
• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
• Teamwork, communication and customer-focused attitude

Required skills

• OSH forklift licence
• Scanners, inventory systems or ERP software experience is advantageous

What we offer

• Pay of $27-$30 per hour depending on experience
• Monday to Friday day shifts, weekly pay
