Motorcycle Delivery Agent – Fixed Term, 4 Days Per Week

About the role

New Zealand Post is hiring a motorcycle delivery agent in Lower Hutt for a 12-month fixed-term position until December 2027. The role starts at 6:30 am on a 4-day roster with Sundays off, and involves processing and sorting mail from the Seaview branch before riding out on your own delivery route on a motorbike, rain, hail or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Process and sort mail from the Seaview branch in Lower Hutt
• Deliver mail and parcels to customers on your own motorbike route
• Connect with customers as the face of NZ Post in the community
• Work alongside a dedicated team and ensure the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Aim for high levels of customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Availability to work a 4-day roster, 6:30 am to 3:55 pm until December 2027
• Experience as a licensed motorbike rider
• Ability to handle a physically demanding role
• High level of numeracy and literacy to deal with addresses and sorting information
• Passion for doing a great job consistently
