Sourcing Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Procurement Manager to lead high‑value procurement initiatives across infrastructure and facilities projects in New Zealand. The role offers a fast‑paced environment where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and a supportive team to drive commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to-end procurement activities for a variety of infrastructure and facilities‑oriented purchases.
• Oversee RFx processes, conduct supplier evaluations and manage vendor onboarding.
• Negotiate complex, high‑value contracts and ensure commercial terms align with organisational goals.
• Provide commercial insights through data analysis, market research and supplier performance monitoring.
• Maintain and develop senior stakeholder relationships, collaborating with internal teams and directing cross‑functional efforts.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Pre‑existing right to work in New Zealand and preferably based in Wellington.
• At least three years of procurement or contract‑management experience, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Motivation to learn and grow within a dynamic procurement environment.
