Site Reliability Engineer – Melbourne

About the role

Infosys is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to join its Melbourne team. The role focuses on day‑to‑day incident management in the digital domain, working closely with the customer’s business and IT stakeholders as well as Infosys offshore delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with the customer’s business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage and optimise SQL databases for high availability and scalability.
• Handle day‑to‑day incident management, coordinating with both customer and Infosys offshore teams.
• Drive proactive problem management by designing SOPs and improvement initiatives.
• Lead domain‑specific improvement discussions with customer IT SPOCs and refine delivery processes.
• Create opportunities for deeper Infosys penetration in the digital domain.
• Guide and mentor Infosys delivery teams to meet customer expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience, including exposure to site reliability engineering practices.
