Second-In-Charge, Cosmetica Takapuna

About the role

MECCA is looking for a passionate Second-In-Charge (2IC) to lead its Cosmetica Takapuna store in New Zealand on a full-time basis. The 2IC supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience and leads the team through training, mentoring and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive store success through ongoing training, mentoring and giving feedback to build a highly effective team.
• Engage and motivate the store team to meet KPIs and uphold company values.

Required profile

• Prior experience managing a large-format retail environment, inspiring and educating large teams.
• A strong passion for customer service and a genuine care for team members.
• Previous coaching and mentoring experience focused on team member development.
• Candidates who have never worked for MECCA before will go through a trial period during the first 90 days.
