Sales Manager - Auckland

About the role

EatClub is a food-tech platform connecting customers with restaurants and bars, offering real-time deals. Its Auckland Sales Manager leads a high-activity field sales team that brings venues onto the platform and shapes how EatClub grows across New Zealand. The role is hybrid, sits in the Sales department, and involves leading from the front, coaching reps and owning a monthly revenue target.

Key responsibilities

• Review pipeline and activity in HubSpot each morning, run stand-ups and hold one-on-ones and call reviews with the team
• Spend time in the field with Business Development Managers, joining venue meetings and live pitches and coaching reps in real time
• Work with global leadership, Revenue, Marketing and RevOps to refine local market strategy and share venue feedback on pricing and competition
• Travel across surrounding NZ areas to support launches in new markets and build early venue pipelines
• Work with RevOps on pipeline visibility, CRM hygiene and conversion metrics
• Hold the team to activity standards (outreach, follow-ups, daily CRM input) and track progress against weekly and monthly sales targets
• Help launch EatClub in new areas, refine the sales playbook and scale a high-performing BDM team

Required profile

• 2-3 years leading a high-activity field sales team with clear activity and revenue targets
• Experience managing 5+ sales reps and delivering a high-value team sales target
• Comfortable in high-velocity sales environments and coaching reps in real customer conversations
• A hands-on, structured leader who thrives on leading by example and works well with explicit targets and accountability

Required skills

• Strong experience managing pipeline, CRM accuracy and conversion metrics
• Direct, personal input into a CRM such as HubSpot
