Account Manager (Auckland)

About the role

EatClub, a food-tech platform connecting millions of customers with restaurants and bars, is hiring an Account Manager for Auckland. The role is hybrid, sits in the Account Management AU department and gives you full ownership of your territory and partners, with guidance from the wider team. It suits someone who enjoys field visits alongside desk-based planning and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with restaurant partners across your territory and take ownership of their success
• Monitor partner performance using dashboards and data insights, and identify risks early to reduce churn
• Lead onboarding, activation and optimisation of new partners
• Deliver growth opportunities such as campaigns, upsells and new features
• Balance field visits with desk-based planning and analysis
• Contribute ideas to improve account management processes, campaigns and reporting
• Find new upsell and cross-sell opportunities and help generate new leads
• Own and optimise a portfolio of restaurants for long-term retention and growth

Required profile

• 3-5 years' experience in sales or account management
• Established relationships in the Auckland hospitality scene
• Experience working to retention, churn reduction or revenue-related goals
• Strong organisational and communication skills, in person and in writing
• Comfortable balancing autonomy with structured ways of working and managing a portfolio across field and desk work

Nice to have

• Experience in food tech, hospitality, marketplaces or SaaS
• Exposure to territory-based or field-led roles
• Enjoyment of data analysis and performance reporting
• Interest in process improvement and scalable ways of working
