Business Development Manager - Heavy Vehicle Parts

About the role

Multispares, a supplier of quality parts to the truck, bus and transport industry for more than 50 years, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive sales growth and strengthen its presence in the Auckland region. The role is based in Auckland, with roughly 75% of the time spent with customers and on the road and 25% in the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships
• Identify opportunities within fleets, workshops, transport operators and trade customers
• Work closely with the branch team to deliver outstanding customer service
• Analyse customer trends and sales data to find growth opportunities
• Represent the Multispares brand in the market and build long-term partnerships

Required profile

• Currently a Business Development Manager, Parts Manager or Senior Parts Interpreter
• At least 5 years' experience in the heavy vehicle, truck, bus or aftermarket parts industry
• Strong commercial awareness and sales focus
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, self-motivated approach
• Ability to identify opportunities and turn them into results
• Basic understanding of warehousing and inventory management

• Good Microsoft Office and reporting skills
