Risk Advisory Consultant / Senior Consultant

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Risk and Regulatory team in Wellington as a Consultant or Senior Consultant. You will work with New Zealand’s largest businesses to design and implement risk‑management practices that meet regulatory obligations and create lasting confidence for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their risk challenges and provide thought‑leadership and best‑practice advice.
• Advise on the design, implementation or improvement of enterprise risk‑management solutions, processes and frameworks.
• Apply a risk lens to improve performance and operating efficiency across client organisations.
• Lead or support change programmes related to governance, risk operating models and business‑process improvement.
• Develop deep client relationships, identify new opportunities and contribute to market proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk consulting, risk advisory or related roles.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and communication skills, able to convey complex ideas concisely.
• Passion for governance, risk and controls frameworks and a desire to make a positive impact.
