About the role
Join AIG’s Operations Underwriting Support team in Auckland, providing administrative and servicing support for commercial lines policies across multiple profit centres.
Key responsibilities
- Support quotation, bind and issuance processes throughout the full policy lifecycle, working closely with underwriters and internal teams.
- Act as the on‑shore SME for policy lifecycle, liaising with external customers and internal collections teams on cash queries.
- Ensure compliance with governance, policies and guidelines, and participate in audits and business continuity exercises.
Required profile
- Experience as an underwriting associate in general insurance, preferably with commercial lines exposure.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication in English, and ability to handle multiple issues concurrently.
- Analytical, problem‑solving and relationship‑building capabilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
