Project Quality Coordinator

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for a Project Quality Coordinator to join its Meadow Fresh Christchurch site Quality Team on a fixed-term basis of 24 months. Working closely with Quality, Projects, Engineering and Operations teams, the role supports the delivery of site capital projects and product commercialisation by coordinating food safety, quality, regulatory and compliance requirements from planning and design through to commissioning, validation and operational handover.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality support and coordination for site capital projects and product commercialisation, ensuring food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate validation and verification activities, including commissioning trials, sampling, testing, documentation and operational readiness.
• Manage project-related QMS, RMP, HACCP, risk assessment and change management activities, including associated approvals and documentation.
• Conduct project-related quality, food safety and GMP assessments, identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support regulatory, customer and third-party audits associated with site projects and operational changes.

Required profile

• Experienced Quality or Food Safety professional with a strong understanding of food manufacturing environments and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage quality requirements in a fast-paced project environment.
• Degree in Science, Food Technology or a related field; advanced HACCP experience.
• Experience in the dairy industry is advantageous but not essential.
