About the role
Anthony Harper, a law firm with offices in Auckland and Christchurch, is looking for an experienced Legal Executive to join its Banking and Financial Services team in the Tāmaki Makaurau office. You will work alongside experienced partners and solicitors supporting bank and non-bank clients on their lending activities, with a high level of autonomy and direct client contact.
Key responsibilities
- Work with key clients on property finance matters
- Prepare or check transaction documents
- Coordinate pre-drawdown requirements
- Liaise with borrowers' solicitors
- Coordinate input from other members of the team
Required profile
- Qualified Legal Executive with a sound grounding in property finance or an adjacent area such as residential conveyancing
- Organised, accurate and confident in communicating with clients and other parties
- Able to manage responsibilities, progress matters efficiently and build trusted relationships, while knowing when to seek guidance from supervising lawyers
- Curious, practical and keen to contribute to a growing practice; not every requirement needs to be met
