Junior Reefer Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Reefer Technician to join our Tauranga operation. You will help prepare refrigerated shipping containers for export, gaining hands‑on experience in electrical and refrigeration maintenance while working with a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with electrical and refrigeration repairs, servicing and routine maintenance on container machinery.
• Perform manual labour tasks involved in preparing and loading refrigerated containers.
• Learn and apply basic electrical and refrigeration techniques under supervision.
• Support the team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Positive “can‑do” attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn on the job and take on varied tasks.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
• Restricted or preferably full Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (or a valid 2‑year work visa).
• Successful pre‑employment medical, drug test and MOJ criminal history check.
