Site Distribution Manager

About the role

This newly created leadership opportunity at our Finegand site offers the chance to shape the future of distribution operations and support the next phase of site growth. As Site Distribution Manager you will lead end‑to‑end cold‑chain, inventory and dispatch functions, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective product flow from production to customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the distribution operation by overseeing cold store, inventory and dispatch activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective product flow across the site.
• Shape the future of Finegand’s distribution network through forward planning, process redesign and supporting automation initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, service performance, inventory accuracy and cost control while delivering strong customer outcomes.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams by coaching leaders, developing capability and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner across the business to align production, inventory, logistics and customer requirements, solving challenges and delivering sustained operational success.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics or cold‑chain operations, with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Strong operational and strategic planning capability, balancing customer service, inventory performance and business priorities.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with experience leading operational change, process optimisation and efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, using data and operational insights to drive performance and informed decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and deliver results across a complex operation.
