Financial Accountant – Fullers360

About the role

Fullers360 is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Auckland. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate month‑end financials, maintaining balance‑sheet integrity and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post month‑end journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and oversee CAPEX compliance.
• Prepare monthly GST and FBT returns and support external tax advisors with annual tax filings.
• Coordinate external audit activities and liaise directly with auditors.
• Review payroll reporting and manage accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Handle day‑to‑day banking, cash reporting and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Assist with consolidation of two entities and preparation of board reports.
• Partner with cost‑centre managers to provide financial analysis and insights.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent).
• Current experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional services firm, seeking a move into industry.
• Several years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Interest in process improvement and emerging AI tools.
