Associate Director – Finance, Economics & Analytics

About the role

Join PwC’s Finance, Economics & Analytics team in Auckland as an Associate Director. You will lead complex, cross‑industry projects that combine economic theory with financial and commercial insight to deliver high‑impact solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and design innovative analytical solutions.
• Develop and review financial models, business cases, valuations and strategic option assessments.
• Provide investment, regulatory and transaction support, as well as economic and market analysis.
• Lead project teams through the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring quality, timeliness and client value.
• Drive business development by building relationships and promoting PwC’s capabilities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional growth.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in finance, economics, strategy or a commercially focused role, either in professional services or in‑house.
• Degree in finance, economics or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects to successful outcomes.
