Technical Solutions Consultant Graduate

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is recruiting a Technical Solutions Consultant Graduate in Auckland. The role is hybrid, with an average of two days per week spent in an HPE office. It suits someone who wants to start a career in technical support and customer service, applying the basics of a function's principles and theories to limited-scope assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues (hardware and software) from internal and external businesses and end users, using proactive notification systems
• Answer questions about features, specifications and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts and options, based on customer entitlement
• Handle problems by telephone and e-support, and write and speak case summaries and resolutions, adding them to the Knowledge Management System
• Help customers avoid or reduce problems, and meet SLAs with team support
• Visit customers, attend industry conferences, trade shows and vendor meetings, and begin partnering with the Sales Pursuit team

Required profile

• Post-primary education completed before university (e.g. high school diploma, A levels, baccalaureate)
• 0-1 years of experience in relevant technologies and customer environments
• Relevant industry qualification where applicable

Required skills

• Troubleshooting in a technical environment
• Knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices
• Advanced use of case management databases and tools
• Phone and remote support, and e-support experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
