Senior Media Executive

About the role

dentsu Aotearoa is looking for a Senior Media Executive in Auckland. The role plays a key part in implementing, planning and buying media activity for clients, working across traditional media channels with internal specialists, media partners and clients to deliver effective media outcomes, while contributing to planning, reporting and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage media plans, including negotiating and buying media across a range of channels
• Develop and maintain media schedules, evaluate audience insights and identify opportunities supporting client objectives
• Prepare and present campaign reports, post-analysis, competitive reviews and planning recommendations
• Build strong relationships with media partners, suppliers and client stakeholders
• Manage bookings, reporting and billing processes with accuracy and attention to detail

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience in a media agency or media buying/planning environment, with experience in TV, radio, OOH and print
• Strong knowledge of the media landscape, audience measurement tools and media terminology
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage clients and media partners
• Attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
• Collaborative, curious and proactive
