Brand Adviser

About the role

The University of Auckland is recruiting two full-time, permanent Brand Advisers in its Marketing and Recruitment function, reporting to the Brand Manager. You will give specialist brand advice and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of brand activation and promotional initiatives across the University, helping strengthen its brand and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver brand activation, events and promotional initiatives, managing timelines and approvals
• Give practical brand advice to internal stakeholders so that brand assets, marketing materials and communications are applied consistently
• Coordinate brand content and collateral across Marketing, Content, Design and Social Media teams, including proofreading and quality assurance
• Support sponsorship and partnership activation, merchandise, supplier relationships and related administrative and budget processes
• Build stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to improve brand processes, templates and ways of working

Required profile

• Experience delivering brand, marketing, events or promotional activity, ideally in a large or complex organisation
• Strong coordination, organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities, timelines and deliverables
• Ability to advise stakeholders and turn brand strategy and guidelines into practical recommendations and high-quality outputs
