Junior Social Media Manager (Freelance)

About the role

This freelance position supports an animation club that works with primary schools in London. The Junior Social Media Manager will enhance the club’s online presence by curating and publishing engaging visual and video content.

Key responsibilities

• Update and refresh website and social‑media imagery.
• Integrate new visuals and videos from animators and editors.
• Curate and post promotional videos, testimonials and standout student projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to tutors on content quality.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar for regular posting.
• Monitor engagement metrics and report on campaign performance.
• Suggest improvements to content strategy and campaign efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts.
• Strong copywriting and content‑curation abilities.
• Ability to review creative work and give constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with digital‑marketing and audience‑engagement tactics.
• Understanding of the education sector and children‑focused content.
• Based in or familiar with the London education landscape.
• Availability for ongoing collaboration and regular posting.
