Internationally Qualified Nurse (Surgical/Operating Theatre)

About the role

Forte' Health is expanding its Christchurch hospital with new operating theatres and additional overnight and day‑stay beds, scheduled to open at the end of 2027. Over the next 12 months the hospital will recruit internationally qualified nurses to support this growth and to enrich the cultural vibrancy of the team. The team enjoys living in Christchurch and values a supportive environment for newcomers. The hospital will assist with the 6‑12 month process for NZ nursing registration, visa application and relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care in surgical, post‑anaesthetic recovery (PACU) or operating theatre environments.
• Provide flexible coverage across different hospital areas as required during the expansion phase.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in surgical, PACU or operating theatre settings.
• International qualification with the ability to obtain New Zealand nursing registration and a working visa.
