Finance Business Partner

About the role

Pacific Health Group is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its Wellington team. You will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across a multi‑entity healthcare organisation, helping shape financial discipline and commercial capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes together with operational teams.
• Produce clear monthly performance reports and variance analysis.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Support scenario modelling and commercial decision‑making.
• Improve financial literacy and performance accountability across the business.
• Contribute to system and reporting enhancements, including dashboards and KPIs.
• Translate complex financial data into practical insights for better decisions.

Required profile

• Based in Wellington, New Zealand.
• 3‑5+ years experience as a Finance Business Partner after qualification.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven ability to work with senior operational stakeholders in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Confident presenter of financial insights to non‑finance audiences.
• Healthcare experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, commercial acumen and curiosity.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct or Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Power BI reporting experience.
