Field Service Manager - Crown Forklifts Auckland

About the role

Crown Equipment, a material handling equipment company with 45+ years in New Zealand, is looking for an experienced people leader to join its Auckland Service Leadership Team as Field Service Manager. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead a team of skilled service technicians across West Auckland, with autonomy to lead your team and influence the direction of the service operation. It is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of experienced field technicians.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement and customer outcomes.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity and achievement of service KPIs.
• Ensure outstanding customer experiences through proactive customer engagement and relationship management.
• Partner with Sales and Service leaders to strengthen customer retention and support business growth.
• Champion health, safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to regional financial and operational objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success leading field-based, service or technical teams.
• Natural ability to inspire, coach and develop people.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering operational results.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Confidence to make decisions, solve problems and influence outcomes.
• Collaborative leadership style and commitment to building high-performing teams.
• Industry or related experience is valuable, but fresh thinking and a passion for people leadership are also welcome.
