Senior Engineer Water - Treatment

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment to join its national Water and Wastewater Treatment team in Wellington. You will provide expert advice and lead projects from concept through construction, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical advice on water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Lead complex investigations, designs, and construction phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Water, Civil or Environmental engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in water and water‑process engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards it.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to professional standards.
