Sales & Membership Executive – Boating & Marine

About the role

Join a dynamic team at Westhaven Marina and represent two leading marine brands – Sports Marine NZ and Freedom Boat Club. This role blends boat sales with membership growth, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience in a stunning waterfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Sell new, used, and brokerage boats to enthusiasts and first‑time buyers.
• Drive Freedom Boat Club membership growth through Discovery Days, walkthroughs and consults.
• Create engaging boat listings using photography, video walkthroughs and compelling copy.
• Coordinate handovers, onboarding and ongoing customer service with internal teams.
• Host and attend events, boat shows and member days.
• Engage customers via phone, email, CRM and social media channels.
• Support local marketing initiatives, including eDMs and social content.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for boating and the marine lifestyle.
• Confident, personable and skilled at building rapport.
• Previous sales or customer‑facing experience (marine or lifestyle products a plus).
• Organised, self‑motivated and flexible with working hours.
• Valid NZ driver’s licence.
