Retail Lending Specialist

About the role

The Retail Lending Specialist works within ANZ's Adviser Assessment team, a Centre of Excellence for home lending. You will help customers save for, purchase and own their homes or investment properties while ensuring a seamless experience with ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers throughout the home‑loan journey, from saving to purchase and ownership.
• Coach customers at each step, maintaining strong relationships and delivering on ANZ’s Customer Promises.
• Identify appropriate products and solutions to meet customer needs and deepen relationships.
• Develop knowledge of the local market, engage with the community and participate in business‑development activities.
• Mentor and coach branch colleagues to deliver the best possible customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with experience in home lending and retail banking.
• Financially savvy with keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking solutions.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective priority management and task execution.
