About the role
TBIG is looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our Greater Wellington team. You will work on a diverse portfolio that includes education facilities, justice buildings, commercial fit‑outs and 3‑water infrastructure upgrades, guiding projects from design through construction to handover.
Key responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement project strategies that align with client and community objectives.
- Procure and manage consultants and contractors, monitoring performance and risk.
- Chair project meetings, record actions and follow up to ensure nothing is left undone.
- Prepare and maintain programme schedules, reporting progress to stakeholders.
Required profile
- Strong leadership mindset with the ability to make informed project decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Proactive problem‑solver who can adapt to changing project conditions.
