Microsoft Windows Server Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Microsoft Windows Server Specialist to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s on‑site team. The role focuses on scripting, automation and operational improvement across Windows, messaging and platform services, helping to increase reliability, security and efficiency of enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise PowerShell scripts for automation of system administration tasks.
• Automate patching, vulnerability remediation and other operational processes.
• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments, both on‑premises and in Azure.
• Manage Exchange Online and Exchange on‑premises infrastructures.
• Configure, monitor and support NetScaler (Citrix ADC) environments.
• Support data protection platforms, including backup, restore and recovery procedures.
• Integrate automation across Active Directory, Azure, Exchange and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, messaging and platform layers.
• Contribute to documentation, standardisation and best‑practice operational guides.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, messaging and operations teams to improve service stability.
