About the role

Join SIG as a Key Account Manager and drive business growth across New Zealand. You will build long‑term relationships with global organisations, identify new opportunities, and deliver consultative sales solutions in the FMCG packaging sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate leads, engage decision‑makers at prospect accounts and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Design and execute a growth strategy for New Zealand, aligning with SIG’s value‑based selling approach.
  • Sell appropriate product and service portfolios to New Zealand customers, supporting market gains.
  • Develop deep relationships with C‑suite and mid‑level executives of key accounts.
  • Own primary account management for New Zealand customers and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed strategic account plans and provide market insights.
  • Support broader ANZ business development activities as required.

Required profile

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., business administration, marketing, engineering).
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within FMCG or packaging industries.
  • Strong networking, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and follow business plans and achieve revenue targets.
